The move

We were quite fond of our old home. It was on the coast, with nice views of the city.

It was comfy to hang out with a great deck, and rocked us to sleep at night.

We could take vacations without leaving home

It was also a bit small for kids that wouldn’t stop growing. So we put all our possessions (including kids) into our little car,

cleaned out our storage unit and small office into the newly purchased “Bumblebee” (so we could pretend to be real country folk)

and headed off to our new home at Carrot Corner. Or at least, to where the new home might someday be. We could stand inside of the stakes and pretend.

We could take a drink from the imaginary well drawing water, we hoped, from somewhere not too far below.

It was going to be awhile … might as well settle in
